The chemical industry uses wet electrostatic filters to remove pollutants, such as aerosols,fine particles and ash. Pipe bundles from STEULER-KCH are crucial components in theconstruction of wet electrostatic precipitators. In order to separate out the pollutants, they arefirst electrostatically charged within the pipes of electrostatic precipitators. This causes themto be deposited on the oppositely charged surface of the pipes and they are then collected inthe filter sump. Electrically charged plastic precipitation bundles are primarily used whereconventional materials cannot deliver due to insufficient resistance.
